XTR B Proximity Reader

XTR B proximity reader. The new intelligence.

Just 21mm in depth, there's no limit to the number of tags that can be stored. Tags can be saved individually or in groups, and as master or slave versions in order to manage duplicates.  

XTR B can operate in single channel or two channel mode with impulse or latching commands. Multiple features can be enabled by varying the way in which the TAG is bought towards the reader. 

The XTR B is wired to a BUS input on compatible FAAC control boards. This provides an easy installation with wires that are resistant to tampering. This reader can also be used on a non-BUS board, with the simple addition of a XBR2. This BUS-relay adaptor converts the secure BUS signal to a switch output that is compatible with any automation device, creating a stand-alone tag reader with enhanced security.

Standard tags are available, but installers now have the option to use FDS BD remotes with a built-in RFID tag. End users can be given a single remote with four buttons to communicate wirelessly with up to four FDS receivers. The built-in RFID tag also works on up to two XTR B readers.
