Last Saturday, our FAAC UK team stuck their sunglasses on, loaded their families into the car and headed to the London Irish Rugby Club in Sunbury for an afternoon of 60th birthday celebrations!
Hosted in partnership with our UK colleagues from both FAAC Entrance Solutions and HUB Parking Technology, there was a host of activities for the whole family to enjoy. FAAC-tivity books and Con-FAAC-tionery pick n’ mix for the little ones, as well as a bouncy castle and a game of tug-of-war for when the sugar set in!
As the children were busy playing happily together, their parents sipped Pimms by the barbecue and took a moment to appreciate this landmark moment in FAAC history. Before the day was done, the team gathered to hear from our managing director, David Nimmo, (as well as Sarah Ryan of FAAC Entrance Solutions UK) as we took stock of our 60 year industry heritage and looked forward to the prospect of another 60 years spent serving our valued customers, as a FAAC Technologies family.
In true FAAC tradition, the event culminated in a huge prize raffle, successfully raising £1,685.00 in aid of Shooting Stars Children’s Hospice. After all, it was only right for an afternoon spent celebrating with our families to be used as an opportunity to raise money for those less fortunate.
Here’s to the future success of FAAC Technologies and our valued customers!
