FAAC Revolving Door Sales on the Increase - October 2012

Press Release

23rd October 2012

FAAC Revolving Door sales on the increase

FAAC are best known as a world leader in access control automation, but they also supply a range of
high quality manual products and, due to recent additions to their manual revolving door range, are
experiencing an upturn in sales.

A revolving door is an excellent solution for providing an aesthetic entrance to a building combined
with optimal energy savings. All FAAC manual revolving doors are fitted with a 30mm rubber buffer
on both entry sides of the drum wall and a 30mm horse hair brush strip is mounted within the nose
of the door to seal the door leaf against the drum wall. Not only does this prevent hands being
trapped between the door leaf and drum, but it also creates a total draft seal in any position
throughout its rotation.

All FAAC revolving doors are bespoke and specifically manufactured to meet the client’s functional
and dimensional specifications. A new addition to their manual revolving door range was recently
installed at The Hydro Hotel, Eastbourne. “The revolving door was chosen to replace automatic
sliding doors that caused a continual draft through the main floor of the hotel.   Through its sleek
design and ease of movement, the new door has allowed us to retain the classic character of the
hotel, while still providing a safe, smooth and draught free entryway for our guests, which has also
resulted in a reduction in our heating bills”. For more information visit www.faac.co.uk.
