NEW SLIMLINE PEDESTRIAN SLIDING GLASS DOOR OPERATOR
FROM FAAC (UK) UNVEILED AT INTERBUILD
A100 features very latest technology and USB connectivity
FAAC (UK) is turning the spotlight on its comprehensive
range of automatic door operators with the launch of the
new A100 slim line sliding pedestrian door operator. On
show for the first time at Interbuild (Hall 4 Stand No:
K40), the A100 sets new standards for compact automatic
door operators, featuring the latest technology including
a USB connection enabling remote access for diagnostic
support.
Measuring just 100mm in height with a depth of 135mm, the
A100 is one of the smallest automatic door operators
currently available, making it ideal for installations
where space is severely restricted. Suitable for single
leaf doors of up to 110 kg or two leaves with a combined
weight of 140 kg, the A100 is designed for continuous
operation, meeting demand for a compact automatic
operator for doors in areas of high traffic.
Highly energy efficient and extremely cost effective, the
A100 door automation system operates with just 230 watts
of absorbed power. The compact nature of the system also
means less raw materials are used during manufacture,
further reducing its impact on the environment.
Featuring a 100% duty cycle and a very fast response
time, the A100 also leads the way in safety features. A
unique optional battery backup can be specified giving up
to 20 minutes continuous use in the event of a power
Compact and unobtrusive, the A100 is manufactured from
extruded aluminium with the option of a natural or
anodised finish to the fascia. Designed for easy
installation, it is supplied fully assembled, wired and
tested in the configuration requested by the customer and
can be fitted retrospectively if required.
