FAAC installers GCD Security recently completed the successful installation of 2 x B680H automatic barriers at the SCAS Resource Centre in Kidlington, just north of Oxford. This busy Resource Centre required a reliable, high-quality access solution to control the entry and exit lanes of their parking area, where time is precious, and efficiency is crucial.
Prior to this installation, there was no existing access control system on-site. Therefore, the newly installed FAAC barrier system has provided a notable improvement in the security and efficiency of the Resource Centre’s daily operations, integrating seamlessly with a new Salto entry access system. In addition, these FAAC automatic barriers were fitted with the latest EVO Loop activation and protection sensors from BEA Sensors Europe.
These new FAAC-supplied sensors replace traditional photocells and induction loops, providing an entirely new, all-weather solution which is set up effortlessly via mobile app. GCD Security’s engineers were impressed by the ease of installation with this new system, alongside the ever-reliable FAAC B680H:
“The product was relatively easy to install. The instructions were clear to follow, and all required parts were included. Installation didn't take too long, and no specialised tools were needed.”
“We've consistently relied on FAAC due to its reliable quality and affordability, which continue to make it a preferred choice for our needs. We would recommend this product as we've had consistently positive experiences with FAAC and would confidently recommend the brand for its quality, reliability, and value.”
– Paul Hickman (Managing Director, GCD Security)
All the necessary equipment was installed within a single day, leaving the site’s end users impressed with their brand-new access control solution and the modern security enhancements it will bring to their facility. The result of another successful collaboration between the FAAC UK team and GCD Security.
