Background
A residential house owner undertook major works to upgrade and renovate their driveway. The gate system was part of these works and was designed and manufactured by Gatedoctors. The automation chosen was once again FAAC equipment given the needs of the customer and the reliability of the FAAC range. The FAAC 400 product was selected, a heavy duty top of the range operator. The 400 SB operators were selected along with Safecoders, these encoders guarantee complete movement control and reverse on obstacle detection. Over the lifetime of the operators, they’ll avoid energy wastage due to avoiding having the operators push against mechanical stops. If there is a power failure, the encoder always keeps in memory the leaf position.
