Shopping Centre slides open
A busy Eastbourne shopping centre needed to replace obsolete equipment at its two
main entrances where each double-leaf sliding door opens and closes thousands of
times every day.
FAAC 940SM electro-mechanical sliding door operators, specially designed for
continuous duty in commercial environments, were fitted at Langney Shopping
Centre.
Normal operation is triggered by sensors mounted inside and outside each door. The
SD-Keeper keypad enables building managers to access sophisticated programming
functions. Suitable for single leaf doors up to 180kg or double leaf doors up to 110kg
per leaf.
